Free accessable games for Windows 7

I've been surfing the web to find free games for Windows 7. Most games that I've come across are for XP and/or 2000. The other catch is that I'm pretty much completely broke and can't really justify buying a game right now. Does anyone have some good ones?

If it works on XP likely it will work on Windows 7 either straight away or using the Windows XP Compatibility mode.
